With Expedia TAAP you can bundle travel products together (e.g. flight + hotel + car) in one transaction to create the perfect trip for the traveler. It may also be referred to as a "Bundled deal" or "Bundle and Save" since bundling travel products can unlock impressive savings, such as Package Rates which offer an average 20% discount on accommodation.
If bundled packages are available on your Expedia TAAP point of sale, then it will appear as an option on the Expedia TAAP homepage.
Here's how to book a bundled package (see screenshot below):
-
Select "Bundle and Save"
Choose the travel combination you would like to book. Vacation rental options will also be provided with any combination requests that include a hotel in the bundle.
-
Enter your search parameters
-
Optional: Elect to stay somewhere else
This is a useful option if the traveler wishes to stay at a property in a location different than the airport city. In the example below, the travelers are flying into Vancouver, but then they prefer to stay at the ski resort a few hours away in Whistler.
-
Optional: Indicate if accommodation is only needed for part of the stay
This is another handy option. In the example below, the travelers only want to stay a couple of nights in Whistler and then they will be staying with friends in Vancouver before heading back to London. To handle this type of scenario, you can select "I only need a hotel for part of my stay" and then book the property for the dates they will be in Whistler.
-
Follow the prompts to checkout
After clicking "search" you will be able to easily follow the booking prompts which are based on the travel combination you selected in Step 1.
As with every booking, please make sure to double-check the cancellation/refund policy before making the booking.
