Resources to help you
We hope you’re hanging in there. We know these are difficult times for you and your families as our industry continues to be challenged.
Looking at the bright side, we have many reasons to remain optimistic. Several markets continue to show signs of recovery and news of vaccines remain hopeful. Humans have an innate need to connect with each other, so we’re confident that travel will return at unprecedented levels. We’ll be right by your side ready for when this happens.
Below are some resources which are aimed to help you get through this next stretch:
New cleanliness filter for activity suppliers
As many travelers are looking for new experiences near home, booking things to do for them is a great way to boost revenue. To make it easier for you, we’ve enhanced the user interface and you can now filter for activity providers that are taking additional steps to clean and sanitize.
No ‘change fee’ for flights
You can now get access to flight options with no ‘change fee’ from many major airlines via Expedia TAAP; because flexibility matters.
Travel recovery dashboard
We know it’s important for business planning to forecast travel demand. The World Travel & Tourism Council has created 3 interactive dashboards to help you get to grip with how regions and segments are recovering.
Top tips to keep afloat during COVID with a leaner organization
Without a clear timeline for when our industry will fully bounce back, it can be challenging to plan and strategize for the future. So, what can your business do to stay afloat in the current climate?
Confirmed booking status
When you make a booking on Expedia TAAP, you’ll receive a booking confirmation to your Expedia TAAP email address. There is no need to reconfirm with the property or with Agent Support.
Previously there was a technical limitation where the Hotel Confirmation ID, the reference issued by the property, was not displayed on the Itinerary Page for some bookings. This has now been fixed.
You can learn how to quickly re-send a booking confirmation to any email of your choice by watching the video below.
We hope some of these resources come in handy. We realize the travel recovery dashboards and blog post are available in English only. If you need any support, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your local account management team.
Thank you,
Your Expedia TAAP team
