We heard your feedback and made some changes to the way an Expedia TAAP charge appears on a credit card statement. (1 minute read)
In January 2023, the merchant’s name for an Expedia TAAP charge changed to include a general description. As a result, any charges on the traveler’s credit card no longer state that the charge was made by Expedia*.
With this change, you can rest assured that your travelers will not learn that you made their travel arrangements through Expedia TAAP.
What’s the difference?
The credit card merchant description now includes the word TRAVEL followed by the Expedia TAAP itinerary number. This new description helps you act quickly on any queries from travelers, and help you match a credit card charge to a traveler’s trip.
(*Please note that some banks can add more information to the charge which may show the transaction as being an Expedia charge).
